For this project, I was to complete a medium-heavy edit of an outdated field trip planning guide. The goal was to keep the target audience in mind and make edits and suggestions for their benefit. The guide was compared to the current Florida Aquarium website for accuracy.

For this project, I was given a description of the job posting and information of the company. With that knowledge, I made edits to the document using the "Track Changes" feature in Word. Over the course of the project, I was checking for proper language to best convey the client's skill set, grammar and spelling errors, and inconsistencies. I was evaluated on my use of affective language with the client, my suggestions and queries for improvement, and my overall copy editing skills.
Book Manuscript- Social Presence in Online Learning
For this project, I was tasked with editing 5 chapters of the book manuscript Social Presence in Online Learning following APA formatting. The project had already be through several heavy edits and I was tasked with completing a light final edit. I edited grammatical errors, checked the formatting on references, confirmed that the copyright was attributed properly for tables and images, and made suggestions to the author.
